I found the conference extremely informative. There was quite a lot of interest from Ireland and what they were doing about sustainability which was great to see and I hope that next year there could be more UK companies too. What I particularly enjoyed was the variety of speakers from different organisations, universities as well as industry. I am currently a new KTP in a food manufacturing environment working with Brunel University and Northumbrian Fine Foods on various projects and this conference was useful to my current project. It was also a great opportunity to meet different people as I think the conference attracted many people from different backgrounds. I hope that there are many more to come!
